BJJ giveth, BJJ taketh

About a couple of weeks ago — actually during my very first class in the gi — we were practicing breaking down posture in guard and I somehow managed to pinch a nerve in my back or neck. It felt like a cramp that just would not go away, with limited mobility in my neck. I ignored it as much as I could and continued to go roll, but it got so aggravated that I took a week off.

I went to CSW on Monday and BJJ again this week and while rolling I rolled over twice in who knows what kind of pretzel configuration there where three cracks in my neck and I’m fine now.

Well, okay, not 100% fine, but it’s a lot better than it was before that.

So…yay?
